An infinite instant of contact.

A meditation concentrated in a nanosecond.

An immaterial place of absence of incessant thought, the only one.

A smile that does not need to be seen, photographed, shared, posted or blogged.

When my gaze meets hers.

When your gaze meets that of a creature.

But what is Joy? Let me tell you with Eugenio Borgna (from “The Fragility that is in us” Einaudi 2014)

“Joy is a very fragile and impalpable emotion, it lives in the present, not in the past and not in the future, and is radically different from happiness.”

Happiness is a status that is desired, pursued, becomes damnation.

Joy is a gift that is received, which is produced internally.

“(…) Joy is an emotion that arises in us only when our heart escapes the events of every day and recovers the intact sources of our opening up to others. Joy is a luminous emotion that is caused by something not external but internal: it is almost a fountain that gushes from the abysses of our eternity ”

“(…) Joy is an impalpable emotion, it is fleeting, and it is not easy to reach and hold it. It slips through our fingers and all the way away like a comet’s tail continues to live in us: in our memory and in our heart. ”

These last words also seem to me the most suitable to describe Daymon, the perfume.

Impalpable. Comet tail, indelible in the heart and in the memory.

Daymon is pure Joy.
